Becoming a mother can feel a little daunting.

Now that there’s a new little heartbeat to think about, it feels like everything needs to be re-thought and recalibrated. Did I remember to take my prenatal vitamins?  What color are we going to paint the room? Can I lift that box or is it too heavy? 

I remember feeling overwhelmed by all of these questions when I was pregnant with each of my three kids. I’ve been there, and I’m here to help. Motherhood isn’t meant to be done alone, it truly takes a village! When a baby is born, a mother is also born.

Together we will navigate all things motherhood, from fitness to mindset and connection. I’ve got you mama. The mother in me honors the mother in you.

BIRTHFIT Fitness is coming to Headstrong Fit in San Luis Obispo! Join us for a workout series geared toward women who want to workout safely and functionally prior to, during pregnancy or postpartum.

Breath and Flow

Get ready to move and connect with your breath and body again.

If you’ve had a baby in the last 4-6 weeks, this class is for you. You will establish a solid core foundation, wake up your posterior chain and enhance your posture through safe, effective movements that transfer to any activity in our daily lives.

Non-mobile babies welcome.

June 4th - June 27th

Momfit & Wellness Series

Come learn the fundamentals of proper breathing and bracing techniques to strengthen the core and pelvic floor. Each class will offer a balance of metabolic conditioning, strength training and stability work.

I never thought about how important it is to connect with yourself and baby through movement and breathing

I’ve been training in fitness for almost two years now. When I got pregnant, I was approached by one of my coaches about connecting with Chelsea who is a certified Birthfit coach. I never thought about how important it is to connect with yourself and baby through movement and breathing.
